With a recipe unchanged since 1679, I’m a refined and complex Belgian ale brewed with just three cereals barley, wheat, and oats. I was commercially produced by the Bosteels Brewery and launched to the public for the first time in 1996. Since then, I’ve been gaining accolades worldwide including emerging as Champion at the 2008 World Beer Awards, which led to demand exceeding supply. I pour bright gold capped by a creamy head and breathes vanilla, banana yeast, and herbaceous hops. My vibrant and lively flavour profile is repeated on a soft, creamy palate with lemony fruits, bready malts and hints of spice.
